We’re having a pop up fabric shop on Saturday 13th July at Greenways Farm 2, Lyefield Road, Worle BS22 6UT from 10:00am to 3:00pm when Mark Pickles will be bringing lots of cotton fabrics, wadding and haberdashery. We’ll be serving coffee, homemade cakes, light lunches and cream teas in our coffee shop in aid of Freewheelers.

Axbridge District Trefoil Guild.
During the Summer months the Guild tends to aim for outdoor activities. This obviously is dependent on the weather. Consequently to find out what is planned for the meeting on 16th July please contact swild34@hotmail.com nearer the time.

Jazz In The Paddock – Winscombe’s Outdoor Live Music Event. Join us –  fantastic evening of amazing Trad Jazz and Swing, from ‘The Big R Band’.
In the beautiful setting of ‘The Church Paddock’, Winscombe Hill, BS25 1DE. Bring a picnic, a tipple, a rug or a chair – soak up the music, stunning views and atmosphere.
This annual event is a Charity fundraiser for ‘Friends of St James Church’, Winscombe. Saturday 6th July, gate opens 6:30pm.

Cheddar Arts’ summer season concludes on Friday 5th July with ‘A Haunting in Venice’ starring: Kenneth Branagh, Jamie Dornan and Michelle Yeoh.

In post-World War II Venice Poirot, now a retired exile, reluctantly attends a seance. But when one of the guests is murdered, it is up to the former detective to once again uncover the killer. “An atmospheric setting and a stellar cast.”

The World Premier of a new musical, “Mary the Mother” (of Jesus) will take place at Clarence Park Baptist Church, (W-s-M) on 6th July at 6:30pm. Lyrics by Peter Perrin and music by Angela Lavelle, both of Weston-super-Mare.

Caprione and the choir of St Mary’s Church, Hutton and friends from far and near, make up the choir, with soloists, dancers and drama.
Admission is free, with a retiring collection for Weston Foodbank.

Axbridge Royal British Legion.
The July meeting on 2nd July, will be the Summer Lunch. This will be at The Lamb Inn, Axbridge, meeting at 12:30pm for 1:00pm lunch.

Friends of Compton Bishop Church present Music for a Summer Evening with King Alfred’s Concert Band.  A fund raising event in aid of essential building repairs.

Saturday 15th June, 7:00pm at St. Andrews Church. Ticket, £15 includes light refreshment and a glass of wine.

The Trefoil Guild will be meeting as usual on the second Tuesday of the month, which will be Tuesday 11th June.

The next Axbridge Royal British Legion meeting will be 11th June at 11:00am in The Lamb Inn, Axbridge. There will be a speaker from the Royal National Lifeboat Institution. If this is something you would like to hear more about do come along. Everyone will be made welcome.
