The community cafe in Shipham Village Hall on alternate Fridays beginning 27th September, from 11:00am to 2:30pm. Serving light lunches and delicious home-made cakes. It’s a warm and friendly place where you can come to meet and make new friends. Everyone is very welcome.
The Isle of Wedmore Society September meeting will take place on Thursday 26th September at 7:30pm in the Wedmore Masonic Hall. Our Wedmore Parish Clerk, Lindsey Baker and Matthew Martin, a councillor from Somerset County Council, will attend. They will tell us, given the recent changes in local Government structure, how things are managed now.

We’ll hear from a GP, hospice nurse, funeral director & local church ministers; with sessions on what a good death looks like, what has to be done after a death, how to arrange a funeral and where we go when we die. Opportunity to ask questions & share experiences.
