North Somerset Parent Carers Working Together (NSPCWT) are the local forum for parent carers to children with additional needs/disabilities.
On 23rd October, their largest SEND Event, held at Priory Community School will be in full flow!
Parents, Carers, Family Members & Professionals are all welcome to attend & benefit from the many exhibitors, training workshops, keynote speakers, drop-in clinics & an inspiring performance!

Former Spring Watch presenter Martin Hughes Games will talk about presenting BBC’s Spring Watch on Saturday 19th October, 7:00pm at St. Andrews Church, Compton Bishop. Friends of Compton Bishop Church are raising funds for essential external work.

The Weston-super-Mare Macular Society local group covering Weston Clevedon, Winscombe and surrounding areas meets on the 3rd Wednesday of the month 10:30am to 12:30pm at St Peter’s Church Hall, Baytree Road, Weston-super-Mare BS22 8HG. Friends and carers most welcome.

Have you been diagnosed with Parkinson’s? The NW Somerset Local Support Group of Parkinson’s UK meets on the second Saturday of each month at St Francis Church Hall, Nailsea, 10:30am – 12:15pm, for an informal coffee morning. There’s sometimes a speaker, occasionally musical entertainment or a quiz, and always time for a chat. On 12th October there will be a speaker giving advice about legal matters such as Power of Attorney.

Jumble, Rumble & Upcycle Sale on Saturday, 12th October in aid of Winscombe Community Centre New Building.
There will be great bargains, refreshments and a raffle too. 
The Jumble Sale starts at 2:00pm, but if would like to donate jumble please bring it along on the morning of 12th October from 9:30am. Profits will go towards our NEW Community Centre.

RAFA-MSB will meet on Monday 7th October at 11:00am in Wells Golf Club, Blackheath Lane, Wells, BA5 3DS for a presentation by Mike Green entitled “The Baedeker Raids” and  President’s Briefing on Annual Conference 2024 followed by optional Lunch & Drinks from the Club Menu & Bar.

The North Somerset Hard of Hearing Social Group meets on the 1st Monday of each month 2:00pm to 4:00pm at the Conservative Club, 24-26 Alexandra Parade, Weston super Mare BS23 1QX. If you have a hearing impairment come along and socialise, swap tips and strategies, attend day trips and and activities.

SAVE THE CHILDREN lunches will be served in Shipham Village Hall on Friday, 4th & 18th October, November 1st, 15th & 29th and December 13th.

Come and join us for cheese, bread, pickles, homemade biscuits, tea/coffee for £5.50pp.
