Weston hospicecare thanks to Wedmore Friends fashion show donation for scanner
A massive well done and thank you to Shirley Wederell and to the Wedmore Friends of Weston Hospicecare and everyone involved in the Fashion Show held on 1st April.
Yet again you have raised an amazing amount of £2,165 from your Fashion Show. Special thanks to Kukkina Boutique, Isle of Wedmore Bowls Club, The Wedmore Paper Shop, Burns the Bread, The Kipling Patisserie and Prose Café, Rodda’s Creamery and Mulberry for sponsoring your event along with many other sponsors.
Because of this event, Weston Hospicecare will now be able to purchase the scanner needed for our in-patient unit based at Jackson-Barstow House in Uphill.
The total final amount needed for the scanner was £2,385.00 and with a previous donation of £220.00 from Wedmore Friends this has been achieved.
Thank you to you all again and keep up the amazing work you all do fundraising for the hospice.
