Dance into the New Year with Mendip Folk Club – Join us at St James’s Church Centre, Winscombe, BS25 1BA, and try some different styles of English Country Dancing. The club meets on the 2nd, 4th and 5th Mondays of the month (except August and Bank Holidays) from 8:00pm to 10.00pm. We are a friendly and helpful group of people, you do not need to bring a partner and your first evening is free.

Axbridge Carers Group, part of Somerset Carers Service is a free, informal gathering for people who regularly offer a helping hand to a friend, family member or loved one.  We socialise, share ideas and to talk about our experiences. Professional speakers and service providers also visit to offer support and information. 
We meet every fourth Monday of the month from 2:00pm at the Town Hall.

Macular Society Local Group December Meeting

The local Weston-super-Mare Macular Society Group covering Weston, Clevedon, Winscombe meets on the 3rd Wednesday of the month 10:30am to 12:30pm at St Peter’s Church Hall, Baytree Road, Weston-super-Mare BS22 8HG.
The group is for anyone affected by central vision loss AMD wet or dry. We have presentations on a variety of topics such as useful appliances, helpful organisations and local interest. Such as GWR and VisionAid.
