Cheddar Country Market is offering a vast range of goods at the moment. Home made cakes and savouries.Home grown vegetables and fruit. Flowers and plants. Jams, marmalade and pickles.
Craft including cards from various makers, jewellery, knitted items and hand made clothes.

The market is held every Tuesday from 10:00am – 11:30am at the Village Hall, Cheddar BS27 3RB.

You’ll receive full training to prepare you for the kinds of conversations you’ll have. And when you start out, you’ll have a mentor with you, to give you confidence you’re doing the right thing. Our listening volunteers are there for anyone who needs emotional support. You will learn new skills and the confidence to use them, including understanding people and managing difficult conversations.

The Shipham Inn (Somerset – BS25 1TW) would like to welcome new members to join their regular Mah-Jong Group. 
Whether you’re a novice, experienced Mah-Jong player or someone who would like to learn to play a warm welcome awaits. My hope is that we can make these enjoyable, social evenings playing a game that originated in the Far East.

Music in Mind Wedmore

Music in Mind is a friendly group for people feeling isolated or with memory problems, and their carers, to meet together for a social chat, refreshments and most importantly, MUSIC! We sing, listen and play simple percussion instruments. Usually fortnightly: Monday afternoon (2:15pm – 3:30pm), Masonic Hall, Wedmore. No charge, though a small donation can be made. (We are supported by the Wedmore and Axbridge Health Fund Trust).
