Local support for those with Parkinson’s

Have you been diagnosed with Parkinson’s? The NW Somerset Local Support Group of Parkinson’s UK meets on the second Saturday of each month at St Francis Church Hall, Nailsea, 10:30am – 12:15pm, for an informal coffee morning. There’s sometimes a speaker, occasionally musical entertainment or a quiz, and always time for a chat. On 12th October there will be a speaker giving advice about legal matters such as Power of Attorney.

Cheddar Valley u3a is in full swing again, with groups meeting for the Autumn/Winter sessions. Sadly there are no more Speaker Meetings booked for the time being, as the vacancy for an organiser is still unfilled, so if you would like to take on this role, now’s your chance!

Our Coffee Mornings continue as usual on the 3rd Thursday each month in the Village Hall 10:00am – 11:30am. See you there!

Cheddar Country Market held every week

Cheddar Country Market is offering a vast range of goods at the moment. Home made cakes and savouries.Home grown vegetables and fruit. Flowers and plants. Jams, marmalade and pickles.
Craft including cards from various makers, jewellery, knitted items and hand made clothes. 
Too many to list, so come and see for yourself. 
The market is held every Tuesday from 10:00am – 11:30am at the Village Hall, Cheddar BS27 3RB.
